The Playa Lakes Joint Venture (PLJV) seeks a Communications Director to lead the organization’s outreach efforts targeted to wildlife agencies, conservation groups, landowners, agricultural interests, policy-makers and other stakeholders in the conservation of migratory bird habitat in the Southern High Plains at the local, state, regional and national level.
The position sets strategy, oversees and implements all external and internal communications programs, including the PLJV website, monthly e-newsletter and weekly radio program.
Candidates for this position must have experience in online, written and oral communications and media relations. The PLJV (pljv.org) is a regional partnership of wildlife agencies, conservation groups, corporations and landowners dedicated to conserving migratory bird habitat in the Southern High Plains.
