LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg; June 29, 2007 .- The limits, proposed by the executive European Commission, aim to protect animals, plants and humans from high concentrations of dangerous substances in water.
The proposal calls for the limits to be achieved by 2015.
The rules must be approved by the European Parliament before they can enter into force.
