David Hendricks, the Express-News’ business columnist, has been named one of the top business columnists in the country

SAN ANTONIO, Tx; USA; April 6, 2007.- Hendricks was recognized by the Society of American Business Editors and Writers.

He and two other columnists were selected in the Medium Newspapers category -those with daily circulation between 125,001 and 250,000.

Some of his notable columns focused on businesses’ silence in the immigration debate; the legacy of the late Enron Corp. chairman, Kenneth Lay; and on the political maneuvering that once threatened the future of the San Antonio-based North American Development Bank.
