QUARTER OF A MILLION RARE PLANTS SHOWCASED AT THE GARDENS BY THE BAY IN SINGAPORE

Visitors gather beneath the giant concrete structures of the Supertree Grove at the newly opened Gardens by the Bay in Singapore as they wait for a multimedia lightshow at dusk.

The 101-hectare gardens, situated at the heart of Singapore’s Marine Bay, cost S$1 billion ($786 million) to build and houses over a quarter of a million rare plants, according to the company.
