‘CEMETERY OF COMMUNISM’ TO HIGHLIGHT CRITICAL ECOLOGICAL SITUATION
Two men stand in front of an abandoned and partly ruined industrial building during an excursion “Cemetery of communism” in the town of Kostiantynivka, some 700 km (435 miles) southeast of Kiev, Ukraine.
Local NGO “Bakhmat” organizes ecological tours with visits to waste spots and abandoned and ruined factories in the post soviet time to highlight the critical ecological situation in their city.
The sign on the building reads “Our aim is communism”.
